Hi @Jhos777

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your printer is currently powered off. Please follow the steps provided to turn it back on. Additionally, I kindly request you to elaborate on the issue you are facing with the ESAS error so that I can assist you more effectively. Meanwhile, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Restart Devices

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power on.
  • Restart your computer and router as well.

Set Printer Online (Windows)

  • Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
  • Right‑click your HP printer → select See what’s printing.
  • In the window, click Printer → Use Printer Online.

HP Smart App Check

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • If the printer shows as offline, remove it and re‑add it.
  • This re‑establishes the connection with HP services.
  • Run Wireless Setup (if Wi‑Fi)
  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Network Settings → Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Select your Wi‑Fi network, enter the password, and reconnect.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
