Hi @Angelbell
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It seems like your HP DeskJet 3752 printer is connected to Wi-Fi but is not functioning properly when you try to print from your phones.
Let’s get it working for you:
1. Check Printer and Network Connection
Ensure your printer is truly on the same Wi-Fi network as your phones (not a guest network or a different frequency like 5 GHz if your printer supports only 2.4 GHz).
On your printer, print a Wireless Network Test Report by pressing the Wi-Fi button and the Information button together. Confirm the connection details.
2. Restart Devices
Restart your printer, phones, and Wi-Fi router. This often resolves connection glitches.
Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 1 minute, and plug it back in.
3. Use the HP Smart App
Download the HP Smart app from your phone’s app store (if you haven’t already).
Open the app, tap the Add Printer option, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your HP DeskJet 3752 to your phone.
4. Check for AirPrint or Print Service on Phones
If you’re using an iPhone or iPad:
Ensure that AirPrint is enabled on the printer. Most HP printers support AirPrint out of the box.
When printing, select the printer from the list that appears under AirPrint devices.
If you’re using an Android device:
Ensure the HP Print Service Plugin is installed from the Google Play Store.
Open the Plugin app, enable it, and ensure it recognizes your printer.
5. Confirm Firewall or Network Restrictions
If your phones can’t detect the printer, check your router’s settings to ensure there aren’t any restrictions blocking the connection between devices.
6. Reinstall Printer on Your Phones
Forget the printer from your phone’s list of devices and add it again.
In the HP Smart app, remove the printer if it’s already added, then re-add it to establish a fresh connection.
