My Printer is offline and NOT connected to the internet. I pushed the WI-FI button to turn on WI-FI and the printer is flashing a purple light.
How do I connect to the Internet? Why does this happen all the time!!?

Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Start WPS Push Button Method:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Power button on the back of your printer for at least three seconds. The purple light should start pulsing at the edges.
- Press the WPS button on your wireless router within two minutes. The printer will attempt to connect.
Using WPS PIN Method:
- Press and hold the Information button until all control panel buttons light up, then press and hold the Information and Resume buttons for at least five seconds. This will print a page with a PIN code.
- Enter the WPS PIN in the configuration utility or software for your wireless router.
Using HP Printer Software
Ensure Wi-Fi is Enabled:
- Ensure the printer Wi-Fi is turned on by pressing the Wi-Fi button on the back of the printer.
Connect Using the HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer and connect it to your network.
