Hi @Lucy1634,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is displaying multiple flashing lights and error messages, it typically indicates a specific issue. Here’s how you can troubleshoot the problem:

1. Check for Paper Jams

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
  • Check the paper tray and any internal rollers for small bits of paper that may be causing the error.

2. Check Ink/Toner Levels

  • Ensure that your ink or toner cartridges are properly installed and not empty.
  • If you recently replaced any cartridges, double-check that they are correctly seated.

3. Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for about 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

4. Run a Self-Diagnostic Test

  • Many printers have a built-in diagnostic tool:
    • Consult your printer’s manual or HP’s support website for instructions on how to run a self-test or diagnostic.

5. Clear the Print Queue

  • If there are any stuck print jobs, they could cause issues:
    • On your computer, go to Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click on your printer and select See what’s printing. Cancel any pending jobs.

6. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date. You can find firmware updates on the HP support website.

7. Check Network Connection

  • If the Wi-Fi light is flashing, there may be a connection issue:
    • Reboot your router.
    • Use the printer’s control panel to re-establish the Wi-Fi connection.

8. Consult the User Manual or HP Support

  • Look for specific error codes or flashing patterns in the printer’s user manual or on HP's support site, as they can provide detailed explanations for the issue.

9. Perform a Factory Reset

If none of the above steps work and the printer continues to display errors:

  • Refer to the user manual for instructions on performing a factory reset. Be aware that this will erase any customized settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
