Hi,

For a while now my HP app won’t recognise my printer. It shows it’s connecting with wifi and the configuration page shows no issues. When I try to connect the print through the app using ‘connect to a previous printer..’ it says no printer found.

if I try to connect using ‘set up a new printer’ it says ‘enable local network permissions..’ but it is already enabled! 

i have tried everything I can think of. It allows me to print using the print option on my iPhone but I am unable to make adjustments and almost of the time it ends up printing all over the place. If I try to print clicking the HP app, it won’t recognise the printer! 

I’m at my wits end! It’s very frustrating as I can’t use my printer to it’s fully capacity and can’t understand what I’m doing wrong here. I’ve tried everything

 

Please help!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart App and check if that works.

 

Update the Printer firmware: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

 

Try and use AirPrint if nothing works from above: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1946968-1947068-16
