Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Every 4 or 5 weeks i have to sit and type my wifi password back in. The printer can find the network no problem. There seems no method to store the password so that, if it does go offline, it can reconnect itself. Each time I have got to sit and type in the passcode which is 16 characters long in capitals and lower keys and in numbers and letters. it takes ages.

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.

2. Router Settings

Check your router settings to ensure that it's not causing the disconnection. Sometimes, routers have settings that can disconnect devices.

Steps:

  • Log in to your router's admin panel.
  • Look for settings related to DHCP lease time and increase it if possible.

Steps:

5. Power Saving Settings

Check if there are any power-saving settings on the printer that might be causing it to disconnect from the WiFi network.
