@FifiJo, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP ENVY 6032e printer keeps going offline. Let’s walk through some steps to get it back online and printing smoothly.

Check Printer Status

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
  • If the printer has a touchscreen, tap the Wi-Fi icon to confirm it's connected.

Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

The HP Smart app can automatically detect and fix offline issues.

  • Download or open the app: HP Smart
  • Add your printer if it’s not already listed.
  • If it shows as offline, click “Troubleshoot” or “Printer Status” for guided fixes.

Set Printer to Online Manually (Windows)

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your HP ENVY 6032e > Select “See what’s printing”
  • In the new window, click Printer > Uncheck “Use Printer Offline”

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on in this order: router → printer → computer.

Assign a Static IP (Optional but Effective)

Sometimes printers go offline due to changing IP addresses. Assigning a static IP can help:

  • Access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) by typing its IP address into a browser.
  • Go to Network > Wireless > IPv4 Configuration
  • Set Manual IP and apply changes.
