I have a new network that has "#" in the password but I can't get to that character.  The special characters  keyboard on my printer has a key with  "/#%"  but all I can get is "/" .  How do I select the # sign and why did they make it so hard?  Thanks.

@WhyNeeded, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are trying to connect the printer to a wireless network.

HP OfficeJet 4650 has a touch screen and for special characters, you have to tap the "123?" button at the left bottom corner of the screen.

Kindly refer to this video on how to connect the printer to a new wireless network.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
