Hi @Yousif1994,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Setting up a wireless printer like the HP DeskJet 2700 series typically requires connecting it to your Wi-Fi network, which involves entering the network's password. If you can't find your network password, here are some steps to help you locate or reset it.
Check Your Router:
- Look on your router for a label or sticker that contains the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password (often referred to as the "WPA key" or "WEP key"). Sometimes, this information is printed on a sticker on the router's body or found in the user manual.
Access Router Settings:
- If you can't find the password on the router or in the manual, you may need to access your router's settings through a web browser. Typically, you can do this by entering your router's IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1) in the browser's address bar. You may need to log in with your router's admin username and password (not your Wi-Fi password). Once logged in, you can usually find the Wi-Fi password in the wireless settings section.
Ask Your Internet Service Provider (ISP):
- Sometimes, your ISP may have set up your Wi-Fi network and provided you with the password. You can contact them or check your account information to see if they have the password on record.
Reset the Router:
- If you can't retrieve the password through any of the above methods, you can reset your router to its factory default settings. However, please note that this will also reset your network name and password to their defaults, and you will need to reconfigure your Wi-Fi network from scratch. The reset button is typically located on the router and can be pressed using a paperclip or a small object. Refer to your router's manual for specific instructions.
Once you have obtained or reset your Wi-Fi network password, you can use it to connect your HP DeskJet 2700 series printer to the network. During the setup process on the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app (if available for your printer), you will be prompted to enter the network password.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
