Printer not connected to network but still prints

HP Recommended
OfficeJet Pro 8035e

I can print via WiFi but printer’s message and HPSmart app say that printer is not connected to the network and thus can’t be properly monitored for ink.

 

anybody run into this before?

I understand you are receving  printer not connected to the network error.
