My printer is connected to the Wi-Fi but yet it is not connecting to the app and the app is still not allowing me to print.

I understand the situation—your printer shows as connected to Wi‑Fi, but the HP App is still not detecting it for printing. Thank you for sharing what you’ve tried so far.

 

To better understand and guide you correctly, could you confirm a few details:

  • Which printer model are you using?
  • Are you connecting through a Windows PC, macOS, iPhone, or Android device?
  • When you open the HP App, does the printer appear at all (even as “offline”), or is it not listed?
  • Have you already tried any steps such as re‑adding the printer in the HP App or running the Diagnose & Fix option?

This will help narrow down whether the issue is with the app, the driver, or the network recognition.
