@abeswhit, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer not connecting to the modem!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your HP ENVY 6032e printer is not pairing with your modem, and I’m happy to assist you.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

1. Check Network Compatibility

  • Ensure your modem/router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as HP printers do not support 5GHz-only networks.
  • If your router has both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, try connecting your printer to the 2.4GHz network.

2. Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer, modem/router, and iPhone.
  • Turn on the modem/router first and wait for it to stabilize.
  • Then, turn on your printer and iPhone.

3. Reconnect the Printer

  • Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone.
  • Tap the “+” sign to add a new printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Wi-Fi.
  • If prompted, enter your Wi-Fi password correctly.

If the issue persists, please answer a few questions:

  • Did you recently change your modem or router? If so, the printer may still be trying to connect to the old network.
  • Do you see any error messages on the printer or in the HP Smart app? If yes, please share the exact message.

Let me know!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
