Printer not found in wifi network

Have had Office jet Pro 6978 for a while. Never any issues until now. It is connected to secure wifi but for some reason It is not being detected by laptop or HP smart app.  I deleted it from my macbook air and figured would be easy to re install and fix the issue. Well, that didnt work..........I can pick up the other HP printer in the house, but not this one. It "cant be found"....... i have followed every possible recommendation and laptop cant find it.  thanks for any suggestions

Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
