@GeorgiaKana, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Offline Issue for HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP ENVY 6458e All-in-One Printer is offline and unable to print, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check for Error Messages

Make sure the printer is turned on and check for any error messages on the printer display. Resolve any errors following the on-screen instructions.

Restart Printer and Computer

Turn off your printer and computer. Wait for a few seconds and then turn them back on.

Verify Printer Connection

Verify that the printer is properly connected to your network or computer. If it is connected via USB cable, disconnect and reconnect the cable. If connected wirelessly, ensure the network connection is stable.

Ensure Printer is Not Paused or Offline

Open the Print Queue:

  • Windows 10/11: Type "Devices and Printers" in the search box and open it.
  • Windows 7: From the Start menu, click Devices and Printers.
  • Windows Vista: From the Start menu, click Control Panel > Printers.
  • Windows XP: From the Start menu, click Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

Double-click the icon for your printer to open the print queue.

On the Printer menu, make sure there are no checkmarks next to "Pause Printing" or "Use Printer Offline."

If you made any changes, try printing again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
