I'm afraid Betty your advice hasn't helped at all.  My HP Envy Photo 7130 started to present to the Network  as "Offline" around a week ago.  Since then I have tried everything - every step recommended by the HP Virtual Agent - applying the HP Print and Scan Doctor multiple times - hard re-booting - removing than adding the printer - and now your recommendation.  Nothing has worked.  It didn't help that the the 2 buttons you suggested holding down - the cancel button and wifi signal button are not readily apparent on my printer's control touch-screen.  I can see the wifi signal icon but I can't see a cancel icon so it may be that I'm not holding down what I should be holding down (I've been trying the wifi icon and back icon together).  Could you be more explicit please.  I'm getting desperate!  I think it's poor on HP's part not to offer proper support to help resolve this sort of issue.  That said I do appreciate your trying to help.

Depending on the model of your router you may be dealing with a compatibility issue between the 5Ghz channel of your router and the 5Ghz in the printer. In cases like this the first thing that I recommend is that you program the 2.4Ghz channel of your router to a different SSID and only allow the printer to connect to that SSID. I also recommend that you assign a static IP address to the printer and make sure that the printer driver is configured with a standard TCP/IP port and not a WSD port for communication.
