Hi @Rayshan1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand how  it can be when your printer suddenly shows as “offline.” Let’s work through this together and get you back to printing smoothly.

Could you please share the exact printer model number ?

In the meantime, here are a few  steps you can try right away:

  1. Check connections: Make sure the printer is powered on and securely connected to your computer or Wi‑Fi network. If it’s a USB printer, try unplugging and reconnecting the cable.
  2. Restart devices: Power cycle both your printer and computer. Sometimes a simple restart clears the offline status.
  3. Set printer online: On Windows, go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers, right‑click your printer, and ensure “Use Printer Offline” is unchecked.
  4. Update drivers: Outdated drivers can cause connectivity issues. Visit HP’s support website  https://support.hp.com/ to download the latest drivers for your model.
  5. Check Wi‑Fi: If it’s a wireless printer, confirm it’s connected to the same network as your computer.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
