Hi @Kweney,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP printer is showing as offline after restarting the computer, printer, and router. Try these next steps:

  1. Make sure Wi‑Fi is turned on on the printer.

  2. Check that no Ethernet cable is connected, because this disables wireless on supported models.

  3. Run the Wireless Network Test from the printer control panel. The test report can show what is blocking the connection.

  4. Print the Wireless Configuration / Network Configuration page and check whether the printer network status is Ready or Offline.

  5. Confirm the computer and printer are on the same wireless network by trying to open the printer’s Embedded Web Server from the network address shown on the configuration page.

  6. Temporarily disable firewall/security software on the computer and test again. If the printer works, reconfigure the firewall to allow printer communication.

  7. Check printer status on the computer:

    • Windows: Go to Devices > Printers & Scanners, then if the printer shows Offline, choose Use Printer Online. If it is paused, choose Resume Printing.

    • macOS: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print Queue. If Jobs Stopped appears, click Start Jobs.

  8. On Windows, if more than one printer driver exists, make sure the wireless driver version is set as the default printer.

  9. You can also try restarting the HP Network Device Support service on Windows.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
