Hi. I've had my printer for about 3 years or so. It's always been...temperamental, needs to be reinstalled every now and then.
I have a new laptop and simply cannot print anything from my machine. I also now cannot print from my phone - both have HP Smart installed.
I can only print from one, much older, laptop, and that is nearing end of life and will need to be replaced fairly soon.
I've tried reinstalling it, switching it off and on, and every variation of that, nothing makes it work!
I run a mesh in the house, it is definitely connected to the network, I can see it! It's clearly ok since it works with one device.
Does anyone have any suggestions? (apart from 'dump the useless bit of junk and get something else' - which, tbh, I am close to doing!)
Thanks!

This is a known difficulty with mesh networks. I assume you have read through the setup for your mesh devices.
Typically, the main router or modem is put into passthrough mode and has wifi & ssid all disabled.
Your printer, USB & Wi-Fi only, is then connected WiFi to one of the mesh units.
Make I make a suggestion: Avoid Wi-Fi by using the USB port
If your router has print server capability then attach your printer to the routers USB port and configure the print server function. The printer will have a host name, for example NPI400CB07 (this is my laserjet hostname). The printer can be accessed from any of the mesh using NPI40CB07 (or depending on the router) NPI40CB07 .attlocal.net
Not all routers with USB ports support print servers. You can always add a USB print server connecting the USB on your printer to the router. Typically $50 USD.
