ENVY Photo 7830

I have an ENVY PHoto 7830.

HP Instant Ink tells me it can't communicate with my printer as it is Offline.  HP Smart says "Out of paper in photo tray".

The printer is working.  I can print normal document using the paper tray.  I have never printed photos or used the photo tray.

I'm about to run out of ink.

 

Anyone had the same issue?

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - 'Photo Tray Problem' Error

 

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet.

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your PC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

If the issue persists, reinstall the HP Smart app
