Hi @RsBrownHB

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

If your HP Envy 4520 is showing a strong wireless signal but not being found by your Windows laptops, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Restart Devices: Power cycle your printer and laptops. Turn them off, wait a few seconds, and then turn them back on.

Check Printer Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptops.
  • Print a network configuration page from the printer to verify the connection status and IP address.

Update Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your laptops. Visit the HP website to download the latest version for your model.

Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your laptops that may be blocking the connection.

Add Printer Manually:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners on your laptop.
  • Click on Add a printer or scanner, then select The printer that I want isn’t listed.
  • Choose Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname, and enter the printer's IP address.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool. It can help diagnose and resolve common printing and scanning issues.

Reset Network Settings on Printer:

  • You can reset the network settings on the printer by going to the Setup menu on the printer, then Network and selecting the option to reset network settings.

Reconfigure Wireless Connection:

  • If the above steps don’t work, try reconnecting the printer to the Wi-Fi network. You can do this through the printer’s control panel by navigating to the Wi-Fi setup wizard.

Check for Interference: Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices that might interfere with the Wi-Fi signal.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
