Can’t get into the WiFi set up for my printer because it’s password locked, I don’t have the password and the printer seems to not connect to the HP smart app either. It’s a desk jet 3755

Hi @Jakeswafford440,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 3755 is password locked and you don't have the password, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:
- Locate the Wireless button on your printer. Press and hold this button for about 3 seconds.
- This should reset the network settings, allowing you to reconnect to a new WiFi network.
Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
- If your router supports WPS, press the WPS button on your router.
- Within 2 minutes, press the Wireless button on your printer. This should connect the printer to the WiFi network without needing a password.
Reconfigure the Printer with HP Smart App:
- If resetting the network settings was successful, open the HP Smart App on your phone or computer.
- Follow the instructions in the app to set up the printer and connect it to your WiFi network. The app should help you through the setup process.
Use a USB Connection Temporarily:
- Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
- Open the HP Smart App or HP Printer Assistant on your computer and select Set Up New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer and configure the WiFi settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
