My printer report says ,at the top, "printer not connected to the internet", but under the Wi-Fi symbol it's telling me that i'm connected to the internet and connected to the Wi-Fi, I don't use my printer a lot, or my laptop, it's fairly new still have 2 months left on the warranty. I've reset Wi-Fi, I unplugged the printer from the back I and connected it back. It printed fine not too long ago.

Hi @S-160,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a communication issue between your printer and your network, even though it seems to be connected to Wi-Fi. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Restart Your Router: Sometimes, the router itself can cause connectivity issues. Try unplugging your router, waiting a minute or two, and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes resolve network issues.
- Check Network Settings: Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network settings are correct. You may need to access the printer's settings menu to verify this.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.
- Reconnect to Wi-Fi: Even though it shows as connected, try disconnecting and reconnecting your printer to the Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, re-establishing the connection can fix the issue.
- Forget and Reconnect to Network: On your printer, forget the current Wi-Fi network and then reconnect to it as if it were a new connection. This can sometimes refresh the connection settings and resolve the issue.
- Check for Interference: Make sure there are no physical obstructions or sources of interference between your printer and the router. Other electronic devices or physical barriers can sometimes disrupt Wi-Fi signals.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there could be a hardware problem with the printer itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
