HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I turned on my HP DeskJet 2755e Printer today and it just didn't connect with my WIFI connection. It normally connects automatically. The i (information) and color icons are blinking with a yellow light, and wireless is blinking a blue light.  It looks like this:

When I first open the HP app, it says the printer is offline.

I have tried almost all the steps I could do here (until #4 where I hid the printer): https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2026537-1681507-16?openCLC=true

I can't add the printer after hiding it and I have also Restored wifi set-up with no success.

When I try to connect the printer, the printer is found, but it cannot be configured. I attached a screenshot of what happens when I connect it and what happens after.

I am about to try to install drivers  written on this page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-deskjet-2700e-all-in-one-series/model/2100187846?sku=26K67A&...

but my printer cannot be found.

What do I do now? Only other thing I haven't done is remove my HP Smart subscription. But I am not sure how that would help and I don't really want to remove my subscription and buy new ink just to have a subscription.

Hope someone is able to help!

Hi @Trufflegar,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart Your Printer and Network Devices:

  • Turn off your printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router by unplugging it and then plugging it back in after about 10 seconds.
  • Reconnect the printer's power cord and turn it on.

Check Wi-Fi Signal:

  • Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.
  • Avoid physical obstructions or wireless interference from other electronic devices.

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi:

  • Press the Wireless button and Information button simultaneously on the printer.
  • Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your router until the connection process starts.

Use HP Smart App for Connection:

  • Download and install the HP Smart App on your mobile device or laptop.
  • Open the app and follow the setup instructions to reconnect your printer to the network.

Check for Firmware and Driver Updates:

  • Visit the HP Support website to check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
  • Update the drivers on your computer if necessary.

Factory Reset (if needed):

  • As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. Be cautious as this will revert all settings to default.
  • Hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the power button blinks, then release them.

Refer to Blink Codes:

  • Consult your printer's manual to interpret specific blinking light codes, as they often indicate particular issues that might not be generic.

I hope this helps.
