The HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M277dw device is connected wirelessly and is always on standby. In the past it has turned on and "calibrated" itself occasionally, every few days or less. The past few weeks it has been turning on and going through the "calibration" routine much more frequently, up to several times a day, and for a longer duration each time. It is very noisy, as if the machine were actually printing, and all the parts are spinning and moving. This constant activity is going to wear out the printer fast, as well as being loud and bothersome and waking me up in the middle of the night. I don't use the printer very often and haven't been using it more than usual. Why is it doing this? Is it picking up some kind of wi-fi or Bluetooth interference? Is there any way to make it stop, short of turning it off, which means a big hassle whenever I want to print? Thanks for your help.
