I had to reset my router, and now my Laser Jet 100 doesn't find the network. I tried restarting several times.

Hi @JP12749,
Please find the next set of steps below.
Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
Prepare the Printer:
- On your printer, press and hold the Wireless button for about 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts blinking. This indicates the printer is ready to connect via WPS.
Activate WPS on the Router:
- On your router, press the WPS button. You usually have a few minutes to press this after activating WPS on your printer.
- The printer and router should connect automatically. The wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and stay solid once connected.
Print a Network Configuration Page:
- To confirm the printer is connected to the network, print a network configuration page.
- On most HP printers, this can be done by pressing and holding the Wireless button and the Information button (or similar) simultaneously.
Update Printer IP Address on Computer:
- If you were using a static IP address for your printer, you may need to update this in your computer’s printer settings.
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (macOS), and update the IP address for the printer.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to refer to your printer's manual, or I recommend you contact phone support for further assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @JP12749,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!
Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.
When you reset your router, your printer may lose its network connection settings. Here’s a step-by-step guide to reconnect your HP LaserJet 100 to the network:
Reconnect HP LaserJet 100 to the Network
Restart the Printer and Router:
- Turn off your printer and unplug the router.
- Wait for about 30 seconds.
- Plug the router back in and wait for it to fully restart.
- Turn the printer back on.
Check Network Settings on Printer:
- Ensure the printer is in a ready state and that the Wi-Fi indicator light is on.
Restore Network Settings on Printer:
- Reset the Network Settings:
- For many HP printers, pressing and holding the Wireless button or the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for about 5-10 seconds will reset the network settings.
- Check your printer manual for specific instructions for your model.
- This will clear the previous network settings and prepare the printer for a new connection.
Reconnect the Printer to the Network:
Using the HP Smart App:
Download and Install HP Smart:
- If you haven’t already, download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- HP Smart for Windows
- HP Smart for macOS
- HP Smart for iOS
- HP Smart for Android
Open HP Smart:
- Open the HP Smart app and sign in if required.
Add Your Printer:
- Click on the plus sign (+) to add your printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure you select the correct Wi-Fi network and enter the password if prompted.
Find the next set of steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
