Hi @Akeyah,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?
Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
Check Wireless Settings:
- Ensure that your wireless router or access point is powered on.
- Make sure the printer is within the range of your wireless network.
- Verify the network name (SSID) and password, ensuring they are entered correctly.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off your printer and router. Wait for a few moments, then turn them back on to reset their network connections.
Run Wireless Setup Wizard:
- On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button.
- Navigate to Wireless Setup Wizard, then follow the prompts to connect to your wireless network.
Enable Wireless:
- Ensure that the wireless feature is enabled on your printer. The wireless light should be solid, not blinking.
Disconnect VPN:
- If your computer is connected to a Virtual Private Network (VPN), disconnect from it before trying to connect your printer to the wireless network.
Firewall Settings:
- Check your firewall settings to ensure they allow connections from your printer to your computer network.
- You may need to temporarily disable the firewall to see if it is causing connectivity issues.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Access the HP support website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
Print Wireless Network Test Report:
- Use your printer’s front panel to print a wireless network test report, which can help identify issues with the network setup.
I hope this helps.
