Hi @Printer2410,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can help you troubleshoot the issue with your HP DeskJet 2755e All-In-One Printer not connecting to Wi-Fi. Here are some steps you can try:
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network is working properly and that other devices can connect to it.
Printer Placement:
- Ensure that the printer is placed within the range of your Wi-Fi router.
Wi-Fi Direct:
- Check if your printer has a Wi-Fi Direct option. You can try connecting your device directly to the printer using this feature.
Reset Network Settings:
- On the printer, navigate to the wireless settings and reset the network settings. After doing this, reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Disconnect the power cord from the router.
- Turn off the printer.
- Turn off the mobile device/PC.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
- Turn on the printer.
- Turn on the mobile device/PC.
Could you please try these steps to connect the printer to the network (in case of dual-band routers, please use the 2.4 Ghz wireless connection for the printer): - Remove the HP Smart App from your mobile device (if already installed).
- Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
- Download and install the HP Smart App on your mobile device from the app store.
- Open the HP Smart App and follow the onscreen instructions on the screen to connect the printer to a wireless network.
Update Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for firmware updates on the HP support website. Click Here
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the printer software from your computer and reinstall it. Make sure to choose the correct Wi-Fi network during the setup process.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
