Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended
Example: 2600 Series Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a DeskJet 2600 Series Printer.

I just upgraded my internet from DSL to T-Mobile Home Internet.

This service can run on a 2.4gh or 5gh connection.  Because I do not have a 5gh tower near me yet, the network is running on 2.4gh.

When I went to reset the Printer using the SmartApp, it told me it could not connect to a 5gnh network.  Again I am running on 2.4gh,  The app advised me to change the Setting on my laptop (WIn 10) to 2.4gh.  I went into settings just to see if that option was available in "Wi-Fi Settings", but I could find nowhere to change the setting.  Even if I cold I do not think I would downgrade the network setting just to accommodate the printer.  I am told by T-Moblie that a 5gh Tower will be available in my area by the end of March and I want to use that on my computer.

Is there a fix to this issue so I can continue to use this printer wirelessly?  A software update?

Additionally, the app advised me to print using the USB cable,  I connected the cable, got a checkmark in the app showing the printer was ready, so I went to print a page of a PDF file.  I tried through the "Print Documents" button on the app and all that happed is it went to queue and never printed.  I tried to print it from Acrobat itself and the same thing happened.

BTW I did turn the printer off and on again after failures.

My printer will not print anything now.  Help!!!

No, the printer cannot connect to the 5GHz network. If your router is dual-band enabled, make sure the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz networks have different SSIDs/Network names.

If you have issues connecting to the 2.4GHz network, use the guided troubleshooter Troubleshooting | Wireless Printing Center for instruction to isolate and resolve the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
