@Charlie-5855_, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Let's get your HP printer connected to the internet and printing again. Please follow these steps:
Restart Everything
- Power off your printer, router, and computer.
- Wait 30 seconds, then power on the router first, followed by the printer and computer.
Check Printer’s Wireless Setup
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and choose your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password carefully.
If your printer doesn’t have a touchscreen, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together until the wireless light starts blinking. Then use the HP Smart app to complete setup.
Use HP Smart App (Recommended)
- Download the HP Smart app from HP Smart - Official Site. HP Smart
- Open the app and click Set up a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to Wi-Fi and add it to your computer.
Check Printer Status in Windows
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer > Set as Default Printer.
- Make sure the status is "Ready" and not "Offline" or "Paused".
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
