So this is an issue that I haven't seen on this forum at the time of writing and I am really hoping someone can help me fix it.
I have an HP LaserJet 200 printer and it will show as connected to the Wi-Fi and be good to go but when we go to print something from one of your many devices it will either show no printer to be found or the printer is offline. Now for the strange part. If we go and try to print something from my dad's desktop it will work without a problem even though every other device is showing the printer as offline. I have tried every step that HP recommends doing to fix this issue and non of it has worked. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in solving this issue.

Hi @5pr173,
I'd like to help!
To assist better -
- Is there antivirus software installed on your computer?
- What are the other devices that the printer is showing offline on?
- I would like to know, is your router set to work on a 2.4 GHz network or a 5 GHz network band?
- Are the printer and all other devices on the same network?
Meanwhile, try a power reset and check if the printer shows up online
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Here are the answers to your questions.
1: The desktop that can always print has WebRoot antivirus but every other windows desktop and laptop in our house just uses Windows Defender. We also have Android, Apple mobile devices and non of them have any anti-virus apps installed. In our house we also have several Chromebooks and just like the mobile devices they have no anti-virus apps installed.
2: The print is showing up as offline on 3 windows 10 devices, 1 Windows 11 device, 2 Android phones, 1 iPhone, and 5 Chromebooks. There is only one device that is showing the printer as online and that is a Windows 10 desktop (to clear up any confusion we have 4 windows 10 devices in our home but only 1 of those devices show the printer as online.)
3: Our router is a dule-band router so we have both 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz.
4: All devices are on the same network but are connected to eaither the 2.4 GHz band or the 5 GHz band. We tried to see if the band connection was the issue but the desktop that shows the print as online can print when it's connected to the 5 GHz band.
I did try the power reset and it was sadly unsuccessful.

Try the below steps on one of your windows computers -
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity
Download a special version of HP Print and Scan Doctor specifically created to help with printer offline conditions.
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
- Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
- If your printer in not in the list, turn it off and on, and then click Retry.
- If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.
- If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.
Set a manual IP-
To set a manual IP and try the steps below -
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->then go to network ---> general ---> network protocols ---> select IPV4 only-->apply
--->go to wireless ---> wireless 802.11---> select manual ip ---> apply
--->Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
--->then go to settings on the main ews page --> power management ---> select sleep mode to max 15min
Connect the printer to TCP/IP port
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
a. Click Start/Devices and Printers. Right-click on your HP Printer. Select Printer Properties. Select the Ports tab at the top.
b. Select Add Port. Select Standard TCP/IP Port. Select New Port.
c. Follow the Add Port Wizard. Under Printer Name or IP Address, . Example: 192.168.1.15. The IP address will be copied under Port Name.
d. Select Next and Finish the Wizard.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I tried to use the HP Print and Scan Doctor app but it didn't list my printer and I did follow it's directions on what to do and nothing happened.
I am having trouble accessing the printers control panel. When I try to access it through a browser by typing in it's IP address it loads for a little bit and then I receive an error that says 192.168.x.xxx took to long to respond. Please not I replaced the last 4 digits of the printers IP address in this message with x's for privacy reasons.
I can't do the third option since the computer I am using can't find the printer. Should I try it on the Windows desktop that can currently connect and print to the printer?

So the computers can now connect and print but another problem has appeared. The printer will now print on and off. The only way that I have found to make it sure to print for real is to reboot the printer. Other then that I can send something to print and it returns an error message but then it might print some time later on its own or after the printer has been rebooted.
