Printer won't connect to network

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer is not connecting to the network while running on Microsoft Windows 11, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Network Connections

  • Ensure that your printer and computer are connected to the same wireless network.
  • Verify that the Wi-Fi network is functioning correctly.

2. Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer, computer, and wireless router to refresh the network connection.

3. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  • Download and install the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility on your computer.
  • Open the utility and follow the on-screen prompts to troubleshoot and fix any network connection issues.

4. Reinstall the Printer Software

  • On your Windows 11 computer, uninstall the existing printer software.
  • Download and reinstall the latest printer software for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 from the HP Support website.

5. Manually Connect the Printer to the Network

  • Use the printer control panel to manually connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network:
    • On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
    • Select Settings.
    • Choose Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to select your network and enter the password.

6. Update Printer Firmware

  • Ensure that your printer firmware is up to date to avoid any potential connectivity issues:
