Hi @360Andrew,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

It sounds like you're having trouble setting up your HP DeskJet 2755e printer over Wi-Fi. Here are a few steps you can try:

Restart Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wi-Fi Connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your computer or mobile device is connected to 2.4 GHz.

Reset Printer's Wireless Settings: On your printer, locate the wireless button or go to the Wireless settings menu and select Restore Network Settings or something similar. This will reset the printer's network settings, allowing you to set it up again.

Use HP Smart App: Instead of using hp-setup, try setting up your printer using the HP Smart app. Download and install the app on your computer or mobile device, and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer. Click here.

Check Firewall Settings: Sometimes, firewall settings can block the hp-setup utility from running. Temporarily disable your firewall and try setting up the printer again.

Try updating firmware if available on your current OS. Click here

If none of these steps work, let me know, and we can explore other solutions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
