Hello community,

my printer works fine when connected by LAN or by Direct WiFi. Because in don't have LAN Access at the new spot I tried to connect the printer via WLAN. The printer status says connected, and my Fritzbox shows me the printer in the network overview, but my laptop with Windows 10 and my Android smartphone couldn't even find the printer. Can someone please help me? Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Are you getting any error messages?

No, I don't get an error. When I try to Install the printer, it just can't find it. Testet on windows 10 computer and android. When the printer is connected via LAN and not WLAN there is no problem and both devices can find the printer directly.

Reset the printer's network settings on the printer

1. Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

2. Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, select Reports, and then select Print Network Configuration Page to print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Set up the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard

The Wireless Setup Wizard provides an easy way to set up and manage a wireless connection to your printer from the printer control panel.

1. Set up the printer hardware. See the getting started guide or the setup poster that came with your printer.

2. On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network.

3. Touch Wireless, touch Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK.

4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup

Let me know how it goes.
