I have a printer 6455e and have attempted to connect to home wireless following every direction

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

Let's get your HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer connected to your home Wi-Fi. Please follow these steps carefully:

Option 1: Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or PC:

Open the app and sign in or create an HP account.

Turn on your printer and make sure it’s in Wi-Fi setup mode:

  • If the printer is new or recently reset, it should automatically be in setup mode.
  • If not, press and hold the Wireless button (or Wireless + Cancel buttons together) until the Wi-Fi light blinks.

In the HP Smart app, tap “+” to add a printer, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi.

Option 2: Manual Wireless Setup

If you prefer manual setup:

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button to enter setup mode.
  2. On your computer, go to 123.hp.com and download the full software package for HP ENVY 6455e.
  3. Run the installer and follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

Reset Wi-Fi Settings (if needed)

If the printer isn’t entering setup mode:

  • Restore network settings by pressing and holding the Wireless together for 5 seconds until the Wireless light blinks.
