Hi @ff1234552
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've downloaded the new driver but are still experiencing printing issues, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
Step 1: Check Printer Status
- Ensure Printer is On: Make sure the printer is powered on and not showing any error messages.
- Check Connection: Verify that the printer is properly connected to your computer (via USB or network). If it's a network printer, ensure it's connected to the Wi-Fi.
Step 2: Set Printer as Default
- Open Settings: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Set Default Printer: Right-click on your printer and select Set as default printer.
Step 3: Restart Print Spooler Service
- Open Run Dialog: Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Locate Print Spooler: Find Print Spooler in the list.
- Restart Service: Right-click on it and select Restart.
Step 4: Check Print Queue
- Open Print Queue: Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select See what's printing.
- Clear Queue: If there are stuck jobs, select them and cancel or delete.
Step 5: Reinstall Printer Driver
- Uninstall Driver: Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select Remove device.
- Reinstall Driver: Reinstall the printer driver using the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.
Step 6: Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Open Settings: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Additional Troubleshooters: Click on Printer and run the troubleshooter.
Step 7: Test Printing
- Print Test Page: After trying the above steps, right-click your printer in Devices and Printers and select Printer properties. Click on Print Test Page to see if it prints.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
