Hi. After I changed my internet router, my printer has not been connecting to my internet. It keeps telling me it's offline. I have reset and remote my router. I have also reset my printer a few times and nothing. My Wireless keeps blinking blue and my Information icon is orange. Please advise.

Hi @b3ttynthehous3,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your printer is having trouble reconnecting to your new Wi-Fi network after you changed your router. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Wi-Fi Settings on Printer:
- Make sure your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi router.
- Check the printer's display or settings menu to ensure it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the network name (SSID) and password are correctly entered.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off your printer and router.
- Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn on your router first and wait for it to fully boot up.
- Turn on your printer and allow it to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
Reset Printer's Network Settings:
- On your printer, find the option to reset network settings to default.
- Follow the printer’s instructions to reset the network settings, then reconnect to your Wi-Fi network using the printer’s setup process.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. HP often releases updates that can resolve connectivity issues.
- Visit the HP website and follow their instructions to download and install any available updates.
Check Router Settings:
- Log in to your router’s settings through a web browser (refer to your router’s manual for instructions).
- Ensure that your router settings are configured to allow the printer to connect. Look for settings related to DHCP, Wi-Fi channels, and security settings.
Use a Static IP Address (Advanced):
- Assign a static IP address to your printer instead of relying on DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). This can sometimes resolve persistent connectivity issues.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue of your HP printer showing as offline after changing your internet router.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
