I’m having trouble to connect to my wireless Wi-Fi using WPS. Printer is HP colour LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw. When I first bought it it connected fine. Every time I disconnect it it was having difficulty auto connecting. Right now it only works via Ethernet. Does anyone had this issue before and solved it? Thanks

Hi @ardy97,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand that you are facing issues connecting your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M180nw printer to your Wi-Fi router. You may try the below steps to restore your wireless network to defaults and then try to connect the printer back to your wireless router as you did for the first time.

Steps:

  • Use the Cancel and Wireless buttons to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
  • Press the Cancel button to ready the printer.
  • Press and hold the Wireless button until the Attention light blinks.

NOTE:

Your control panel might look different than the following example, but the steps are the same.

Example of pressing and holding the Wireless button

  • Wait 60 seconds until the Wireless light blinks blue.
  • Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup
  • Use HP Smart / HP Easy start to add the printer to your device.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
