Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

Have an HP Photosmart 7520 printer that I want to use with my IPhone and IPad devices.  Do not have a computer.  All ink cartridges are brand new and installed.  It will not  print from my IPhone.  Thank you for any help you may provide.

It sounds like you're having trouble getting your HP Photosmart 7520 printer to connect to your iPhone and iPad devices. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

 

Check Printer Connection

  • Ensure that your HP Photosmart 7520 printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can usually do this by navigating through the printer's menu settings.
  • Check if the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's display shows that it is connected to your network.

Restart Devices

  • Sometimes, simply restarting both your printer and your iPhone/iPad can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a few seconds, and then turn them back on.

Update Firmware

  • Make sure your HP printer has the latest firmware installed. Firmware updates can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve functionality.
  • Check the HP support website for instructions on how to update the firmware of your specific printer model.

Check Wi-Fi Signal

  • Ensure that your iPhone and iPad are connected to the same Wi-Fi network that your printer is connected to.
  • Check the Wi-Fi signal strength on both your printer and your mobile devices to ensure they have a strong connection.

Printer App and AirPrint

  • For printing from iPhones and iPads, ensure that your printer supports AirPrint technology. HP Photosmart 7520 does support AirPrint, but it's important to verify.
  • On your iPhone or iPad, open the app from which you want to print (e.g., Photos, Safari) and check if the printer appears in the list of available printers.

Printer Settings

Reinstall Printer
