@Ph2703, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're having trouble with your HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One showing as offline in Windows 11, even though the lights on the printer are on. Let's walk through some steps to get your printer reconnected.

Power Cycle the Printer and Router

  1. Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Turn off your Wi-Fi router and wait for 30 seconds.
  3. Plug in and turn on the router. Wait until it's fully back online.
  4. Plug in and turn on the printer.

This helps refresh the network connection.

Check Printer’s Wireless Connection

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Wireless button.
  2. Make sure the Wi-Fi light is solid blue. If it's blinking or off, the printer is not connected.
  3. To reconnect:
    • Press and hold the Wireless and Information buttons together for 3 seconds to print a Wireless Network Test Report.
    • Follow the instructions on the report to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

Reconnect Using HP Smart App

  1. Download or open the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store. HP Smart
  2. Make sure your PC and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. In the app, click Add Printer and follow the prompts to reconnect.

Set Printer to “Online” in Windows

  1. On your PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Select your printer > Open print queue.
  3. In the print queue window, click Printer in the top menu and ensure Use Printer Offline is unchecked.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
