Hello. I have recently set up my printer and computer to a wireless connection online with a new ISP. In resolving a consistent problem with the printer going offline by plugging into the wall socket instead of the power strip, I used the HP scan and print doctor app to trouble shoot. A message then came up on the printer that it needed a proxy server configured on the printer. The ISP provides DNS service, but because the printer is third party, they referred me to HP to set up the proxy. Has anyone had any experience with doing this? (Basically so I don't inadvertently mess up the configuration by trying it myself.) Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Please print a Network Configuration Page for your printer:

What is the listed value for the Configuration Source setting on the report? does it list Manual or DHCP?
