Hi @Yvonne97
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP LaserJet Tank MFP 2602sdw is struggling to reconnect to Wi-Fi after being powered off for the weekend.
Since the wireless is on but the connection fails, let's go through some troubleshooting steps to restore the connection.
Steps to Reconnect HP LaserJet Tank MFP 2602sdw to Wi-Fi
1. Reset Wireless Settings
- Wake up the printer from sleep mode.
- Press and hold the Information button for 3 seconds until all LEDs light up.
- Press the Wireless button and Cancel button once to reset the wireless settings.
- Wait for the printer to power cycle and check if the wireless LED is blinking.
2. Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode
- If the printer still won’t connect, restore Wi-Fi setup mode:
- Press and hold the Wireless button for 5 seconds until the light blinks blue.
- This resets the network settings and allows you to reconnect.
3. Reconnect Using HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Select Add Printer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
4. Restart Your Router
- Turn off your Wi-Fi router and wait 30 seconds.
- Turn it back on and let it fully restart before reconnecting the printer.
5. Update Printer Firmware
- Visit HP’s official troubleshooting page here and download the latest firmware update for your printer.
- Install the update and restart the printer.
