Hello,

Unfortunately, the solution you offered did not perform successfully. I have not been able to add the printer without the malware message popping up. I also do not have an option to "verify disk permissions." Is there anything else we can do?

@gc520, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Try printing. If the issue persists, kindly install the printer using HP Easy Start as shown in this post by an expert.

I am trying everything but there are no software updates or drivers for my model????????? I have the HP Deskjet 3050 All-in-One J610 Series. Is there a series I should choose comparable to it?
