FIRST: With the last hour's worth of a frustration experience at trying to get support from HP about this printer interface issue, I may never buy ANY HP product again!

 

SECOND: Fortunately I found this forum. It was a fluke. BUT, If "HP Scan and Capture" doesn't do what I need, I will most definitely NOT be buying any HP products. Too bad for HP because I am in the market for a new laptop and some other hardware and, let's just say, I am not a "poor student". So let's hope you do not lose a customer who will share unpleasant HP experiences if required.

 

NOW: HP Solution Center also had tools for print head cleaning and alignment. How can I do that with my (admittedly old) HP4480?

I have the same issue.  I need to get to my tools to clean my printerhead or ink stuff because my new ink i put in there isn't printing right.  its so frustrating.
