A private response does not help the rest of us with similar problems. I have an HP Officejet Pro 8610 and it is connected to my wifi with a static IP address. Using ExpressVPN's "split tunneling" I have exempted "PrinterControl4" from the VPN and this now allows me to scan using HP Smart while connected to the VPN, but I still can't print even if I try to print a pdf from HP Smart. I need to be able to point ExpressVPN to the file that initiates the sending of print data to the printer over the network.
