Hello,

I recently purchased a HP Envy 6430e printer and want to print using WiFi direct from my android phone, when I go to connect to WiFi direct, it asks for a password which I don't have, I tried default passwords like 00000000 and 12345678 and I printed out the network information sheet which gave me an 8 digit pin which wasn't the correct password, I also searched its box and the manuals for the password. I would appreciate it if anyone could advise me how to get the WiFi direct password that will work.

Hi Kaz,

First, please make sure that HP Wi-Fi Direct is enabled for your printer:

To identify the Wi-fi Direct name and password please print a Wi-fi Direct guide as following:
