Hi @Ciscoeci,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP DeskJet 3752 is having trouble connecting to your Mac and the blue Wi-Fi light is blinking, it usually means the printer is trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
1. Check Printer's Wi-Fi Connection
- Restart Your Printer and Router: Power cycle both the printer and your router to reset their network connections. Turn them off, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn them back on.
- Reconfigure Wireless Setup:
- On the printer’s control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button until the light starts blinking quickly. This puts the printer into wireless setup mode.
- Go to your Mac and open the HP Smart app. If you don’t have it installed, you can download it from the App Store.
- Open HP Smart and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the printer on your Wi-Fi network.
2. Reinstall Printer Software
- Remove Old Printer: On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Select the HP DeskJet 3752 from the list and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Download and Install HP Software: Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for macOS Big Sur. Install the software and follow the instructions to add your printer again.
3. Check Network Settings
- Ensure Printer and Mac Are on the Same Network: Verify that your Mac and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes printers can connect to a guest network or a different network, causing issues.
- Check IP Address: If needed, you can find the IP address of your printer from the printer’s control panel or by printing a network configuration page. Make sure this IP address is correctly configured in your printer settings on your Mac.
4. Use AirPrint (if supported)
- Check AirPrint Compatibility: Ensure your printer supports AirPrint, which is a feature that allows you to print from macOS without needing additional drivers.
- Select AirPrint: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners on your Mac. Click the plus (+) button to add a new printer. Select your HP DeskJet 3752 from the list and choose AirPrint as the printer type.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
