Hi @Vam2024,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reconnect your HP Envy 6000 printer to your new fiber optic network, follow these steps.

Using the Printer's Control Panel

Check Wi-Fi Direct:

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup (wrench icon) > Network > Wi-Fi Direct and ensure it’s turned on.
  • If it prompts you to print a report, do so to find the Wi-Fi Direct name and password.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • Go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • The printer will scan for available networks. Select your new network name (SSID) and enter the new password.
  • Wait for the connection to complete.

Using the HP Smart App

Open HP Smart:

  • Ensure your mobile device or computer is connected to the same new Wi-Fi network.

Add Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • If your printer is not showing up, tap on Add Printer or the + icon.
  • Follow the prompts to connect to your printer.

Use Wi-Fi Direct if Needed:

  • If the printer doesn't show up, try connecting via Wi-Fi Direct temporarily:
    • Go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi Direct and note the Wi-Fi Direct name and password.
    • Connect your device to this network, then return to the HP Smart app to add the printer.

Factory Reset (If Necessary)

If you still can't connect, you may need to reset the printer's network settings:

  1. Reset Network Settings:
    • On the printer, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore Network Defaults.
    • After resetting, try reconnecting to the Wi-Fi network using the Wireless Setup Wizard again.

Note:

  • Make sure that your router is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to the new network.
  • If there’s a firewall or security software on your network, ensure it isn’t blocking the printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
