Hi @Andyh9999

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can remotely print to your HP OfficeJet 4630 even when you're away from home or your local network, but it requires setting up a few things first. HP ePrint is the easiest solution for this kind of remote printing. Here's how it works and how to set it up:

Option 1: Using HP ePrint for Remote Printing

HP ePrint allows you to print documents to your HP printer from anywhere, as long as your printer is connected to the internet. Once set up, you can send documents to your printer by sending an email to your printer’s unique email address (assigned by HP).

Steps to Set Up HP ePrint:

Connect the HP OfficeJet 4630 to Wi-Fi:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the internet via your home Wi-Fi network.
  • You can check the connection status on the printer’s display panel:
    • Go to Setup > Network > Wireless Settings.

Set Up HP ePrint:

  • Enable Web Services on your printer. This feature allows you to access HP's ePrint services.
  • To enable Web Services, on the printer’s control panel:
    • Tap Setup (the wrench icon) > Web Services Setup.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to enable Web Services.
    • After enabling Web Services, your printer will be assigned an HP ePrint email address (something like printername@hpeprint.com).

Find Your Printer’s ePrint Email Address:

  • After Web Services is enabled, the printer should display the ePrint email address on the printer's control panel.
  • You can also check the printer's Web Services Settings for the email address if you missed it.

Test the Setup:

  • Send an email to your printer’s ePrint email address from any device (like your phone or computer) that has an email account. Attach a document or photo to the email.
  • The printer should receive the email and automatically start printing.

Print from Anywhere:

  • Now, whenever you need to print from anywhere, simply send an email to your printer’s ePrint email address. You can attach documents, PDFs, images, or even emails directly to the message.
  • The printer will print the document as soon as it receives the email.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
