please help!
I already tried some troubleshooting still doesn't work!
SCANNING IS CURRENTLY UNAVALAIBLE!
I can't figure out if it's something to do with the printer itself (but it says ready, active, can print and scan thru import, connection is good) or HP software itself?
I saw this under SCAN on HP SMART "WEBSCAN" " YOU CANNOT USE THIS FUNCTION IT HAS BEEN DISABLED, CONTACT THE PERSON WHO SET UP THE PRINTER" what doesn't mean? I'm the one who set up the printer.
Thanks.

Hi @babyms80,
I'd like to help!
I understand you would like to enable a web scan.
Webscan must be enabled from the EWS page of the printer.
Follow the instructions to enable the feature-
--->Touch on the wifi icon ((i)) on the printer, and take down the IP address
--->Open a web browser (ex Chrome or Mozilla) and type in the printer's IP
--->Tab Settings > Security > Administrator Settings > Enable >> Check box next to Webscan
---->Click Apply to save any changes
To scan using Webscan
Scanning using Webscan offers basic scan options. For additional scan options or functionality, scan from the HP printer software.
-
Load your original print-side down on the scanner glass or print-side up in the automatic document feeder.
For more information, see Load the scanner or Load the document feeder.
-
Open the EWS. For more information, see Open the EWS.
-
Click the Scan tab.
-
Click Webscan, change any settings, and then click Start Scan.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
