Printer: Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

 

When scanning to email, I keep getting the message, "Username or password is incorrect.  Ensure both user account and password are valid."

 

I've gone to the printer EWS page and confirmed I have the correct SMTP information.

 

I'm using outlook email.

 

It had been working fine with no changes made to my email or network.

 

What else could I possibly look at?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Microsoft changed the settings: POP, IMAP, and SMTP settings for outlook 

Please check.

I had updated the SMTP as that was different but it still didn't work.

“OAuth2” causes the problem.
